2. To become faster, you have to build your fast twitch muscles. Yes, you have to do 4-6 reps at your max for the 100-200 meters. For the 400 meters, you have to do 6-8 reps at your max. In addition to your weights, do sprint repeats. You could get a simple training program for this just simply typing, for example, "100 meter training" on google. Something should pop up. Some examples of repeats include 4 X 60s, 6 X 50s, 4 X 100s at "flying" pace (max pace). Also, don't put on extra bulk by eating 4000 calories, even if you peaked and want to become stronger.
