What to do to become a faster sprinter?
I would like to know specific muscles that would benefit me most to strengthen also any excersises or anything else at all that I could do to become a very fast sprinter. I will be running distances 50 meters to 400 meters.|||Well of course your calves and thigh muscles. You could just work them by first standing on your tippy toes go up and go down but make sure you feet doesn't touch the ground do that around 100 times real fast or slow your choice (I do it fast so I can do more like 1000 :3 its less painful too %26gt;.%26gt;). Or you can also do sit-ups to strengthen your breathing. Also well I mean push-ups should help to because when you run you use your arm muscles to push forward.|||You need to make sure all your main muscles are strong(example hamstrings, quads, calves) BUT also what is very important are you fast twitch muscles. Google workouts for fast twitch muscles because these are SO important to sprinters. They give you great explosion out of the block and if you work out these muscles properly with exercises for 2 weeks you will definitely notice improvement! Hope i helped a bit!|||Do sit-ups, and practise running everyday. Isometrics also helps.|||do the Ussian Bolt diet of chicken nuggets!!!!!!
