When is it to late to be an Olympic sprinter?

Im 17 and have started sprinting 2 months ago. I ran in a competition yesterday and ran 11.90 without blocks. What I want to know is When is it to late to be an Olympic sprinter? The other 17 year olds where running 11.1's-11.4's. Have I started to late?|||That is not a bad time for a beginner.

The elite high school sprinters can run under 10.50, and a few close to 10.10 or so.

Most Olympic sprinters are out of college and around 23 years old or older.

You have not started too late, you could still develop into an elite sprinter, but it takes many years of training and practice to become an elite sprinter.
